Honeywell replacement FC200E1037 20 x 25 x 4.38 MERV 13 Charged-Media Filter to fit the F200E air cleaner.

The F200 Charged-Media captures a significant amount of the air-borne particles from the air circulated through the unit. The FC200 high-efficiency replacement media filters continue to set the standard for high-end media replacements with MERV 13 performance.

• Charged-Media filter captures particles as small as 0.3 microns.
• Applicable to all gas, oil, and electric forced warm air furnaces and to compressor cooling up to 5 tons and mounts in the return air duct.

MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) measures a filter's efficiency. The MERV value collects information on the efficiency of the filter against varying particles of differing sizes from fine (smoke) to coarse (pollens), then consolidates it into one easy-to-understand number. The MERV rating can be used to compare and contrast filters made by different manufacturers so long as testing conditions are the same. 

MERV 13 Target Contamintnents: Pollen, dust mite debris, carpet fibers, clothing fibers, mold, plant spores, auto emissions, lead dust, coal dust, certain bacteria, tobacco smoke, sneeze particles and cooking oil.

Three times the life of a standard one-inch filter. Only replace every 6-12 months, versus monthly or quarterly. This filter media is not cleanable and must be replaced a minimum of twice a year, once in the heating season and again in the cooling season. If your home only has heating, the filter must be replaced annually. Please note, if you have shedding pets, or live in a dusty environment, you will need to replace the filter media more often.
