Overview
The HE420 120V Series Steam Power Humidifier humidifies the air without a call for heat from the thermostat so relative humidity (RH) fluctuates less, optimizing homeowner comfort. This is ideal for homes with lots of woodwork, hardwood floors, oil paintings, antiques, pianos, fine collectibles and leather furniture. The HE420 Series uses a thermal fan interlock control to provide humidification for the whole house. The steam power humidifier is designed to work with high-efficiency furnaces, heat pumps and set-back thermostats. Also known as models HE420A and HE420B.
Maintenance
A regular maintenance program prolongs the life of the humidifier and provides a more comfortable environment. The frequency of cleanings depends on water conditions. Either hard or soft water can be used in the humidifier, but hard water mineral deposits are more difficult to clean. It is recommended to clean the unit every 1 to 4 months.
